I went to Kemptville a few weekends ago to visit my friends Margaret and Amy. I arrived to a beautiful sunny spring day, a bbq on the deck and cold beer. Heaven.
Later on that night we went to a friend’s house for a bonfire. I felt like I was sixteen again. Margie and I stuffed our faces with hot dogs, beer, spicy Caesars and S’mores. The S’mores were so amazingly good. I’m still thinking about them. Everyone else stood around the fire looking cool, watching us stuff our faces but I think they were secretly jealous of us and wished they could stuff their faces too.
The next morning I woke up to the sound of rain on the roof, smelling like campfire with chocolate on my pants, it was so nice.
The S’mores got me thinking, and I think I’ll have to create some kind of dessert involving graham cracker crumbs, chocolate, marshmallows, and maybe even peanut butter just because I love it. I’ll construct and then post the recipe here soon. Let me know if you have any ideas.
You go hardcore baker! Mmmmm smores deliciousness.

ooo I like the sounds of this!! A graham cracker crust with some kind of melted chocolate with marshmellow and peanut butter swirled through - bar type thing would be heaven.
