I had to make eight cakes today and although I was partially cross eyed by the end of it, I got through it with help from The wooden sky.  They put me in such a good mood!  Their myspace has a great documentary titled "a documentary in pieces" on it, which is definitely worth watching.  You can also hear some of their songs on their myspace page.  Watch a video for "Oh my god" below.

Cadence Weapon is one rad dude.  He is Edmonton's newly named Poet Laureate, a panelist on CBC's Canada Reads 2010, and the creator of amazing music.  He has his album "Separation Anxiety" available on his website for whatever price you are willing to pay.  Check out some of his tunes on his website and myspace and watch a video for Real Estate below.
